Vantastix Activities

Vantastix is a Cat Fanciers Association member club and as such supports and participates in CFA activities. These include participation in and sponsorship of breed rosettes for the two largest cat shows: CFA International Cat Show and the Cats New York show at Madison Square Garden. We also put up breed booths at members' local shows in order to highlight our breed and educate the public.

Vantastix is a strong supporter of Purebred Turkish Van Rescue and serves as a focal point for rescue efforts and fundraising. Our members are active in rescue and fostering and as a result we have been able to find forever homes for many of the Turkish Vans that have ended up in shelters.

An area we are interested in becoming more active with is the area of feline research and supporting studies that help us understand the breed's genetics, preserve its history, identify potential health issues, evaluate population diversity, or provide additional insight into the origins of these cats.

Vantastix wants to bring together breeders and fanciers to work in a united fashion to support these and other activities.
